Opaque Paint

Opaque paint does not allow the base to show through, in contrast to glaze colors (such as watercolors). The opacity and intensity of most paints lies smoothly between these two poles and depends on many factors such as the method of manufacture, the thickness of the application, and the type of binding agent.
